Smart Steps Workshop

2026 SmartSteps for Business Empowerment Program

The SmartSteps for Business Empowerment Program is a signature initiative of the Capital City Chamber of Commerce, designed to support aspiring and existing entrepreneurs through a comprehensive year-long curriculum. This program is planned, executed, and managed by the Capital City Chamber of Commerce in partnership with FAMU Federal Credit Union and the Office of Economic Vitality (OEV).

SmartSteps is tailored for individuals seeking the education, tools, and support necessary to successfully launch, manage, and grow their businesses. The primary goal is to help participants become—or remain—"bankable", positioning them for long-term financial stability and growth.
